Biography

Born in Lviv

• 1990–1995 – Studied at the Faculty of Geology, Ivan Franko State University of Lviv.
• 1995–1999 – Postgraduate studies (full-time) at the Faculty of Geology, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
• Since 1999 – Methodologist at the Faculty of Geology and Head of the “Applied Ecology” Department at the Natural Science College (affiliated with the Faculty of Geology).
• Since 1999 – Engaged in scientific and teaching activities; Assistant at the Department of Historical Geology and Paleontology, Faculty of Geology, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
• 2002–2005 – Deputy Dean for Educational and Disciplinary Affairs, Faculty of Geology, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
• 2004 – Defended Ph.D. dissertation on “Mollusks and Stratigraphy of the Jurassic Deposits of the Pieniny Zone in the Ukrainian Carpathians.”
• Since 2006 – Associate Professor at the Department of Historical Geology and Paleontology.
• 2008 – Awarded the academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Historical Geology and Paleontology.
• Since 2014 – Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Geology, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
• Editorial board member of the proceedings of the All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Problems of Phanerozoic Geology of Ukraine”  (2010–2021) and  Paleontological Collection  (2008–2021).
• Deputy Editor of Paleontological Collection  since 2021.
• Reviewer of materials submitted for publication in the Geological Journal  (Kyiv).
• Accreditation expert for educational programs: 103 Earth Sciences  (Certificate issued on 23.02.2021, approved by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance on 08.04.2021).
